ALL CONCERNED:

 

We have agreed to park U.S.A.F. Radar Bomb Scoring Train equipment at Cadillac and Selma for period of about 90 days starting on or about April 1st as follows:

 

SIDING CADILLAC: Type “2” train 10 cars

including from East to West

Car    1                               (l)   50  ft, box car

Cars 2-3-4-5- & 6-                (5)  85  ft. passenger type cars

Car    7                               (1)  50  ft. flat car

Car    8                               (1)  85  ft. passenger type car

Car    9                               (1)  53  ft. flat car

Car    10                              (1)  50  ft. flat car

 

Fixed spots have been located by the Air Force, designated by stakes, for placement of this type “2” train1 and portion of siding has been moved to provide adequate clearance for operation of antenna and for walkway between siding and main track. These 30 cars have semi—permanent power and other connections so that they cannot be uncoupled,

 

OIL TRACK SELMA Type “1” train — 8 cars

 

All 8 cars are passenger type — 85 ft. long, and have semi—permanent power and other connections so that they cannot be uncoupled.

 

After these trains are placed and parked they must not be disturbed or moved or coupled onto, nor may other equipment be permitted to be switched or left In such position or proximity as might permit movement, coupling onto or disturbing same.  This equipment will be operated and serviced by U.S.A.F. personnel living aboard the cars.  Employes will exercise care in making movements on adjacent tracks with engines and other equipment, and when riding side of cars1 or on ground adjacent, to protect themselves and others from any unusual or unsafe condition that might exist or arise.
